Hello, my name is Mariki! I'm a full-time artist currently living in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where I spend a lot of my time, and where I obtained my degree in teaching.

My art type is mainly realistic, especially my sketches, but I like to incorporate a degree of fantasy into some of my paintings. I work mainly in pencil and acrylics, and I mainly prefer life-oriented art instead of landscapes. I've done murals for kids rooms, and I like to try anything.
